I. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information
We follow the principles of "legality, justification, and necessity" to collect and use your personal information based on the core functions of this App and specific service scenarios. You understand and agree that to continuously optimize products and services, we may introduce new functions from time to time, and the scope and method of personal information collection and use may increase or change accordingly. In such cases, we will separately inform you explicitly by updating this Policy, through pop-up windows, or internal messages, and provide you with the option to consent or not. You have the right to refuse the update of this Policy, but if you refuse the information collection and processing necessary to implement the new function, we will not be able to provide you with that new function, which will not affect your normal use of the original basic functions.
The types of personal information and permission application scenarios required for each core function are individually notified below:
(I) Basic functions: Million sheet music library browsing, AI sheet music search
This App requires registration and login before use. When you use the sheet music library browsing and search functions, to ensure the normal realization of functions and the security of network system operations, we will collect your necessary device information (device model, operating system version, unique mobile device identifier (such as Android ID)), and record your operation information (browsing history, search history, collection history), which will be saved in the form of log files.
To ensure that search results comply with the copyright requirements of your region, we need to apply to obtain your location information (only used to identify regional copyright adaptation, not for other purposes). If you need personalized sheet music search recommendations (such as recommending relevant sheet music based on historical search preferences), location information will also be used to optimize recommendation results. You can choose to refuse to provide location information, but this may affect the availability of certain sheet music and the effectiveness of personalized recommendations.
(II) Account registration and maintenance functions
Account creation: When you register as a platform user to enjoy higher-quality exclusive services, you need to provide your mobile phone number (sensitive personal information) and create a username and password yourself. The collection of such information is used to provide you with account login services and ensure account security; if you refuse to provide your mobile phone number, you will not be able to complete the registration. If you use a third-party platform account (WeChat, QQ, etc.) to log in, with your authorization, the third-party platform will synchronize your nickname, avatar, and third-party account ID information with us. If you refuse to authorize, you will not be able to use the third-party account to log in, but it will not affect other login methods and the use of basic functions. You can bind or unbind third-party accounts at any time in [Settings - Account & Security - Account Binding], and unbinding will not affect basic service functions.
Profile maintenance and account retrieval: To improve the service experience, you can choose to supplement and perfect your personal profile (such as gender, birthday, personal bio). Such information is provided voluntarily, and not providing it will not affect basic services. If you forget your account password or need to retrieve your account, you need to provide relevant identity verification information (such as mobile phone number, frequently used login device, registration time, etc.), and if necessary, your identity may be confirmed through SMS verification. In case of account security disputes, to verify your real identity, you may be required to provide further verification information.
(III) Core functions: AI Transcription, Local Sheet Music Upload
AI Transcription: This function needs to generate sheet music through audio analysis, so we need to apply for your microphone permission and collect your recorded audio information (sensitive personal information). The audio information is only used for AI transcription algorithm processing to generate the corresponding sheet music. We will temporarily store or cache the audio according to functional requirements, and you can manually delete it after the function is completed.
Local Sheet Music Upload: If you need to upload locally stored sheet music files (such as PDF or image format sheet music), we will apply for your storage permission, which is only used to read local sheet music files and upload them to the platform, and will not read other unrelated storage content. The uploaded sheet music can only be viewed by you (unless you choose to share it publicly), and we will not disclose it to third parties without authorization.
(IV) AI Assisted Practice Functions: AI Score Following, AI Error Correction, AI Review
AI Score Following: This function uses an AI audio model to recognize your playing progress in real time and automatically turn the sheet music pages accordingly. If you use audio to trigger page turning, we need to collect your playing audio information; if you use local sheet music files to trigger page turning, we only need to read the sheet music file information you uploaded, without additionally collecting other personal information.
AI Error Correction, AI Review: These two functions need to analyze data such as your playing rhythm and pitch, so we need to collect your recorded audio information (sensitive personal information), combine it with AI algorithms to identify wrong notes, evaluate playing levels (such as pitch accuracy, rhythm stability score), and generate feedback reports. Audio information and evaluation reports are only used to provide you with piano practice guidance. We will store relevant data according to regulations, and you can delete it at any time in [Me].
(V) Special Functions: AI Sheet Music Video, AI Audio Tuning (Background Noise Removal, Wrong Note Correction, and Audio Quality Enhancement)
AI Sheet Music Video: This function needs to generate synchronous playing videos and dynamic sheet music. If you choose to synchronize local playing videos with sheet music videos, we will apply for your album permission, collect your recorded video and audio information (sensitive personal information), and use AI algorithms to achieve audio-video synchronization and dynamic sheet music generation. You can choose to save, share, or delete the generated video and dynamic sheet music. The original video/audio is only used for functional processing and will not be used for other purposes.
AI Audio Tuning: This function needs to optimize your playing audio quality, requiring the collection of your recorded audio information and local video information (sensitive personal information), and using AI algorithms to correct wrong notes and flaws and improve sound quality. You can choose to save the processed audio locally or to the platform cloud (accessible only by you). The original audio can be automatically deleted (or manually deleted by you) after the tuning is completed.
(VI) AI Master Class Function
When you use AI master classes (such as learning with world-class pianist teaching videos and playing along), we will collect your learning records (viewing/listening records, play-along duration, completion progress) to generate learning reports and recommend subsequent suitable courses for you. If you choose to submit play-along works (audio/video) for AI review, we will collect your submitted audio/video information, which is only used for AI review analysis and can be deleted by you independently after the review is completed.
(VII) Other Additional Functions and Permissions
Storage Permission: In addition to local sheet music uploads, this permission is also used to cache sheet music you have downloaded and processed audio/video files so that you can view and use them offline.
Notification Permission: If you subscribe to app updates, order reminders, account security notifications, etc., we will apply for your notification permission to push relevant messages to you. You can turn off this permission via [Settings - Notification Management]. After turning it off, you will no longer receive relevant pushes, but it will not affect the use of core functions.
Clipboard Permission: Only when you participate in platform activities (such as entering share codes, jumping to activity pages), we will temporarily access the share code and link information in the clipboard to realize activity linkage or page jumps. We will not store other unrelated information in the clipboard.
You can check the status of the above permissions item by item in your device settings and decide whether to turn them on or off yourself. Turning on any permission means you authorize us to collect and use relevant personal information to provide corresponding services; turning off the permission means you cancel the authorization, and we will no longer collect and use relevant information based on that permission, nor can we provide the corresponding services, but it will not affect the previous information collection and use based on your authorization, and the normal use of other services.
(VIII) Special Notes on Information Collection and Use
If the information you provide contains the personal information of others, you must ensure that you have obtained legal authorization; if it involves the personal information of minors, you must obtain the consent of their guardians. Guardians have the right to contact us to request the correction or deletion of relevant minors' personal information.
If we use your personal information for other purposes not specified in this Policy, or beyond the stated purpose and reasonable associated scope at the time of collection, we will obtain your explicit consent in advance. If we indirectly obtain your information from a third party, we will require the third party to prove that they have legally obtained your consent and inform you of the information type, purpose of use, etc., while verifying the legality of the third party's information source and adopting the same protection measures as for our own users' information.
According to laws and regulations, your authorization and consent are not required for collecting and using your personal information in the following situations:

II. How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies
To ensure the normal operation of this App, provide you with a more convenient access experience, and offer personalized recommendation services, we may store Cookies, local storage, and other similar technologies (collectively referred to as "Cookies") on your device to record your preference information (such as commonly used sheet music types, page turning settings) and optimize function adaptation (such as adjusting the interface display according to the device type).
You can modify your acceptance of Cookies or reject our Cookies through your device browser or application settings functions, but if you reject them, it may affect the normal use of some functions (such as personalized recommendations, remembering login status).
In addition to Cookies, we may use similar technologies such as web beacons and pixel tags to track the use of functions (such as the completion rate of master class video viewing) to help us optimize product services. If you do not wish to be tracked, you can turn this off through relevant settings (such as unsubscribing from marketing pushes).
